Leadership has been a key part of my journey, whether in school or through my extracurricular initiatives.
I am the Senior House Captain of Jaguars at Dhirubhai Ambani International School. I founded my school’s chess club, where I organized and led weekly sessions for students. In addition, I spearheaded the DAIS Math Olympiad, curating problems and organizing the logistics of the event.
My leadership roles have allowed me to drive change, support others, and inspire my peers to engage in meaningful projects.
Student Council – Jaguars Senior House Captain
2023-24
As the Jaguars House Captain at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, I lead over 300+ students in inter-house cultural and sporting events, nurturing house spirit and enthusiasm. My role involves organizing events, motivating team members, mediating communication between teachers and the student body, ensuring active participation in all competitions, and creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students can challenge themselves and strengthen the Jaguars House unity.
DAIS Math Olympiad (DAISMO)
Oct 2024
In my organization of the DAIS Math Olympiad, I collaborated with my team to curate challenging math problems and organize the event’s logistics. We hosted 80+ students from 20+ schools globally. This annual competition, led by senior-year students, aims to inspire a love for mathematics while promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills. My role included leading problem creation and ensuring a fulfilling experience for all participants.
DAIS Chess Club – Founder & President
2023-24
As the Founder & President of the School Chess Club at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, I established a platform for students to enhance their chess skills. I formally proposed the idea to the CAS office, spread the word to gather participation, and organized weekly training sessions, tournaments, and workshops, creating a supportive environment that encouraged strategic thinking and teamwork in an individual sport like chess. Through my leadership, the club grew to over 20 members, cultivating a passion for chess within the school community while promoting friendly competition among students.
